A data center is a power problem wrapped in a building.
Compute demand is not constrained by capital or by land. It is constrained by energized capacity, and increasingly by water.
We build the facility, self-perform the mechanical and electrical, and can generate the power on site. That is three vendors collapsed into one accountable party.
The constraint
Getting a data center to energized is now the hardest part of building one. Utility timelines, transformer lead times, and water availability all sit outside a traditional general contractor's control.
Owning the generation scope moves the largest schedule risk inside the company that is already accountable for the building.
Water is the other half. We design cooling that runs mostly on reclaimed wastewater, so a facility is not competing with its neighbors for their drinking water.
